This week and last week, I seem to finally be back to "normal". Knock on wood, quick! I'm eating well but not overdoing it again. I started this pregnancy in the low 180s (can't remember the exact number) and this morning I weighed 188.5. So I'm still doing great. I keep having to remind myself to drink enough water though. Oops. I woke up with a bad headache Saturday morning and I'm pretty sure I was slightly dehydrated. Feeling much better now. Everything I've read has said obese women (which according to Wii Fit I had crept back up to before getting pregnant) should gain 5 - 10 pounds during a pregnancy. Definitely a summary, not a quote, my doc said as long as mom and baby are doing fine, the weight gain doesn't really matter. So basically she told me not to obsess over it. And I'm not.
Lots of people keep telling me, you don't even look pregnant. And it's true. I barely have a bump yet but I'm only at 15 weeks for crying out loud! Lol. In fact, I went to Motherhood Maternity this weekend (thanks to a gift card earned from www.mypoints.com) and bought one of those belly band things for my jeans from the last pregnancy cause they keep falling off! I actually went with the intention of buying/replacing bottoms and ended up buying 2 t-shirts and 3 work shirts. Ugh. I just don't like the bottoms at Motherhood. So I guess I'll have to trek out to Old Navy on the other side of Pearland sometime this week.
Sunday is the Warrior Race! I'm proud of Brent. He's lost 20 something pounds getting ready for this. This Friday I have another appointment and this morning we were discussing whether or not it's another ultrasound and I honestly couldn't tell you. I'm really starting to believe my mother's theory that you lose half your brain with each child you have. Lol. It would probably help if I would get my butt in bed at a decent hour so I don't walk around in zombie mode every day.
That's all I know for now!
